The Oaks of Pasadena!
The Oaks of Pasadena opened its doors in 1981. Since then, we have provided unsurpassed service and amenities for adults age 55 and older who enjoy independent senior living in Pasadena. The Oaks features 86 well-equipped, spacious apartments ranging from studio to one- and two-bedroom units. We also have a separate assisted living home called The Retreat. Both facilities are located on our beautiful 27-acre property that includes an arboretum, gardens, swimming pool and paved walking paths.
Special Event April 15th
Join us at The Oaks of Pasadena on April 15th for our Aging in Place Resource Event, a special gathering designed to help older adults and their families explore the many services that support independence, safety, and well‑being at home. This informative event brings together trusted in‑home service providers who will share resources related to home care, health and wellness and accessibility.
Guests are invited to browse information tables, speak directly with local experts, and pick up helpful materials and giveaways. Whether you’re planning for the future or looking for support today, this event offers practical guidance in a friendly, welcoming setting.

It’s a warm, residential setting—combined with compassionate, one‑to‑one support—offering older adults a comforting alternative when living at home is no longer safe or practical.
Prices
The Oaks of Pasadena independent living apartments are leased on an annual basis, with monthly payments of:
Studio apartment – 480 sq. ft. starting at $4,000 per month
One-bedroom apartment – 740 sq. ft. starting at $5,550 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1220 sq. ft. starting at $7,850 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1480 sq. ft. starting at $11,100 per month
The Retreat assisted living starts at $7500 per month and is adjusted according to room size and individual care needs.
