The Oaks of Pasadena!
The Oaks of Pasadena opened its doors in 1981. Since then, we have provided unsurpassed service and amenities for adults age 55 and older who enjoy independent senior living in Pasadena. The Oaks features 86 well-equipped, spacious apartments ranging from studio to one- and two-bedroom units. We also have a separate assisted living home called The Retreat. Both facilities are located on our beautiful 27-acre property that includes an arboretum, gardens, swimming pool and paved walking paths.
Mother’s Day Brunch May 10th
This Mother’s Day, The Oaks of Pasadena is opening its doors for a special celebration — and prospective residents are warmly invited to join us. Our annual Mother’s Day Brunch is one of the most beloved events of the year, bringing together delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and the warm, welcoming spirit that defines our community.
Guests will enjoy a chef‑prepared menu featuring seasonal entrées, fresh sides, and vibrant salads, along with a complimentary glass of champagne to toast the day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to savor a festive meal while getting a firsthand look at the lifestyle our residents enjoy every day.
If you’ve been considering senior living, this event offers a relaxed and friendly way to experience The Oaks.

As we continue celebrating our 45th year of serving the Pasadena senior community, we invite you to enjoy the vibrant energy of spring across our beautiful campus.
May is a wonderful month to experience life at The Oaks. Our calendar is filled with festive celebrations, creative workshops, live music, fitness classes, outings, and special seasonal events — including our annual Mother’s Day Brunch and a lively Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Lunch Buffet.
Whether it’s joining a painting class in the patio room, attending Music or European Art Appreciation, enjoying a Sunday Matinee, or meeting neighbors at Happy Hour, there are countless ways to connect, explore, and feel at home.

It’s a warm, residential setting—combined with compassionate, one‑to‑one support—offering older adults a comforting alternative when living at home is no longer safe or practical.
Prices
The Oaks of Pasadena independent living apartments are leased on an annual basis, with monthly payments of:
Studio apartment – 480 sq. ft. starting at $4,000 per month
One-bedroom apartment – 740 sq. ft. starting at $5,550 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1220 sq. ft. starting at $7,850 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1480 sq. ft. starting at $11,100 per month
The Retreat assisted living starts at $7500 per month and is adjusted according to room size and individual care needs.
