The Oaks of Pasadena opened its doors in 1981. Since then, we have provided unsurpassed service and amenities for adults age 55 and older who enjoy independent senior living in Pasadena. The Oaks features 86 well-equipped, spacious apartments ranging from studio to one- and two-bedroom units. We also have a separate assisted living home called The Retreat. Both facilities are located on our beautiful 27-acre property that includes an arboretum, gardens, swimming pool and paved walking paths.

Autumn has arrived, and The Oaks of Pasadena is embracing the season with a full calendar of festive activities, wellness programs, and creative gatherings for residents to enjoy.
This month’s schedule is packed with opportunities to stay active, engaged, and connected. Residents can take part in Chair Tai Chi, Exercise Class, Yoga, Water Aerobics, and Line Dancing, along with favorite games like Bridge, Scrabble, Bingo, and Open Game Days. Creative and educational programs include Needle Arts, Paint N’ Sip, Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, and our Book Club.

October brings lively performances by our guest pianists Rocky and Matt, plus our Pasadena Community College evening music appreciation program. And don’t miss our Sunday Matinees, featuring a lineup of beloved films perfect for cozy fall afternoons.
🎃 Seasonal Celebrations
We’ll mark the month with OktoberFest, Pumpkin Decorating, and a festive Halloween Party, along with our October Birthday Luncheon to celebrate our residents in style.
At The Oaks of Pasadena, every day offers something new to learn, enjoy, and share with friends. Whether it’s morning exercise, afternoon games, or evening music, there’s always something happening across our beautiful 27-acre campus.

Prices
The Oaks of Pasadena independent living apartments are leased on an annual basis, with monthly payments of:
Studio apartment – 480 sq. ft. starting at $4,000 per month
One-bedroom apartment – 740 sq. ft. starting at $5,550 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1220 sq. ft. starting at $7,850 per month
Two-bedroom apartment – 1480 sq. ft. starting at $11,100 per month
The Retreat assisted living starts at $7500 per month and is adjusted according to room size and individual care needs.
