My mother has been a resident of the Oaks for over 2 years and is really happy there. The staff is always so helpful, kind and patient with any issues that arise. She loves her apartment, especially the huge patio surrounded by lots of trees, bushes, flowers and hummingbirds. She keeps very busy with the many friends she has made since living there playing Bridge, Scrabble, attending exercise classes and may other activities. Our whole family, especially our mother, is really happy with her experience there so far.

Starting my third year and more than pleased. Staff is outstanding and truly try to please. They also keep me fit physically and entertained. Food is really good and varied. Even make my bed in the morning. The best decision I ever made!

I really love living here. The meals, so far, have been good. Today my apartment was cleaned (once a week cleaned and they wash the sheets and towels and they make the bed). I like the full kitchen, even though I don’t plan to cook, and the large patio and the gas fireplace. Everyone is friendly. And great storage and closets. I would recommend this facility to others.

The Oaks of Pasadena is a beautiful campus. The staff are the best and this is what separates them from other independent livings. The food at the restaurant is phenomenal with great variety of food. The monthly buffets are a great treat. There are many events for the residents to enjoy.

I just moved my dad from Las Vegas to The Oaks. After searching various places, I immediately fell in love with The Oaks. It’s a beautiful place and the people who work there are angels. My dad loves his new place and appreciates how nice everyone is there. They take such good care of him. And yes, their food is pretty darn good at their restaurant! I often eat there with my dad and also enjoy talking to the other residents too. If you or your loved one are looking for a fabulous independent living environment, with some support (daily check ins, weekly cleaning, meals, etc.), I highly recommend The Oaks!

My parents enjoyed 6 years at The Oaks. The amenities and the staff were really great. After Mom passed, my sister moved in with him for a few years but he needed more care and transitioned into The Retreat, which is a fully assisted living. It’s a 5 bedroom home. Dad lived there 5 years with the best care. The staff was like family. They truly cared for and loved my Dad. We’re so grateful.

The Oaks has got to be one of Pasadena’s best kept secrets! You could live in this city for decades & never really know it’s here, but this place is a wonderful retirement community! It boasts two apartment buildings, a gorgeous, traditional dining room, swimming pool & jacuzzi surrounded by well-grown trees, and also a supplemental Assisted Living facility. The apartments are amazingly spacious and each one includes either a kitchen or “kitchenette” and a decent-sized covered patio or balcony. The food has always been a highlight for me when I visit here – they have a fabulous chef who really pulls out all the stops!
